Lupe Arens (b. 2001) is an audiovisual artist living and working in Brussels.

Through a playful and critical approach, she interrogates stereotypical images and implicit messages surrounding femininity within Western media history and popular culture. Her work offers a nuanced perspective on the ways in which representations of women are constructed, deconstructed, and experienced. Central to her artistic practice is the creation of characters and scenes. The works that emerge from this process combine a carefully constructed visual language with a sense of immediacy and physical presence. Arens graduated from LUCA School of Arts in 2023. Alongside her artistic practice, she is the founder of Hotel Carrousel, a nomadic exhibition platform for emerging video and media artists.
